Victorious Living Defeined
Victorious living may be defined as successful living, or triumpant living, or living as more than a conqueror, or nothing involving being a permenant loser, or failure, or unsucessfulness. Victorious living pretains to or is characterized by victory that is continuously experienced in one's life.
Victorious living should never be measure by the financial success factor. However, financial success is one of many factors constituting victorious living.
The primary factors measuring victorious living are: (1) being a Christian, (2) coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, (3) prosperity of the soul (spiritual maturity), (4) sowing to the Spirit, and (5) walking in the Spirit.
Godly Prosperity
Godly prosperity, including financial success and being in health is the direct result of soul prosperity. When one’s soul (thoughts, wills, and emotions) has been transformed by the Holy Spirit to perform what is that good and perfect and acceptable will of God, he or she is always useful and valuable to the LORD, and whatever he or she does shall prosper.
“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. (Deuteronomy 8:18)
Then God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life—but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king— (2nd Chronicles 1:11)
wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like.” (2nd Chronicles 1:12)
Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all. (1st Chronicles 29:12)
The righteous that are firmly planted in the word of God are valuable and productive to God, and He finds pleasure in not only supplying their needs, but also the desires of their hearts. These are they who are always seeking to do those things that are pleasing to God.
He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. (Psalm 1:3)
Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)
For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. (Matthew 6:32)
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:34)
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. (3rd John 1:2)
Ungodly Prosperity
Do not be deceived. Financial prosperity alone is misleading and deceiving when measuring victorious living, simply because, there is also financial prosperity of the unrighteous, which has nothing at all to do with the prosperity of the soul.
Unrighteous prosperity is the direct result the wicked that place no constraints on themselves in accomplishing wealth and their view of success; that fulfill their lustful appetites and boast about their accomplishments. All they do is unpleasing and unacceptable unto God, and we should not be envious of them or of anything they have.
“As a partridge that broods but does not hatch, So is he who gets riches, but not by right; It will leave him in the midst of his days, And at his end he will be a fool.” Jeremiah 17:7)
When I thought how to understand this, It was too painful for me --- (Psalm 73:16)
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end. (Psalm 73:17)
Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. (Psalm 73:18)
Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! (Psalm 73:19)
Do not allow yourselves to become bothered by the fact that with this aberrant (unacceptable behavior) lifestyle, the wicked are still able to enjoy life, drink their fill, and live at ease. Do not be deceived. What profit is it for one to gain the whole world and loose his or her soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his or her soul? Money is the god of the wicked, and that god they do serve.
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)
Do you not know that they who engage in evil works are paid by the devil (their employer)? And although they may appear to be enjoying life, drinking their fill, and living at ease, they will reap corruption.
These are they who laugh and mock at our honest labors of making a living, that have no idea (any conception existing in the mind as a result of mental understanding or awareness) of the calamities awaiting them.
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. (1st Timothy 6:9)
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1st Timothy 6:10)
But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. (1st Timothy 6:11)
There are many experiencing financial prosperity that are experiencing victorious living. Some are wealthy and unhealthy; some are wealthy is miserable; some are wealthy and lonely; some are wealthy and sad; all are lost and separated from God. So then, in the end, what is the value of financial prosperity to these identified here?
Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death. (Proverbs 11:4)
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. (Proverbs 13:22)
There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing; And one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches. (Proverbs 13:7)
Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase. (Proverbs 13:11)
The Greed and Generosity Paradoxes
The paradox (seemingly contradictory statement that may nonetheless be true) of greed causing poverty and of generosity causing wealth is a recurring theme in Scripture.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “ If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. (Malachi 3:10)
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the LORD of hosts; (Malachi 3:11)
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. (2nd Corinthians 9:6)
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. (2nd Corinthians 9:7)
The Law of The Harvest
Knowing the law of the harvest each believer should give as he or she purposes in his or her heart. The believer is to give freely and cheerfully, not out of compulsion, and without regret. Each believer should understand that the amount of the harvest is determined by the amount of the seed sown.
If and when we give, God is able to give us more so that we can perform other good works. In other words, God sees to it that the generous giver will not suffer want. Instead, God generously provides for those who give so that they can continue to do so.
The believer should make sure that he or she is sowing seed in good ground. Every preacher and every church and/or organization requesting your seed is not good ground. Being led by the Holy Spirit in this matter is very important to you and the kingdom of God.
Therefore hear the parable of the sower: (Matthew 13:18)
When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. (Matthew 13:19)
But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; (Matthew 13:20)
yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. (Matthew 13:21)
Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. (Matthew 13:22)
But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” (Matthew 13:23)
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Numbers 23:19)
And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent.” (1st Samuel 15:29)
"As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease." (Genesis 8:22)
Don't Let Your Flesh Deceive You
Don’t allow any preacher, teacher, speaker, or representative from any organization make you feel guilty about giving; if you’re not led by the Spirit to give to them, don’t give! And if you feel guilty and give anyhow, your giving is in vain and unprofitable, because your giving is according to the flesh and not according to the Spirit.
Do not allow anyone to play on your fleshly feelings as if they represent holiness. Be confident and assured of what you’re giving and who you’re giving it to, which can only be accomplished through the Spirit of God (who deceivers do not want you to depend on).
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; (Luke 4:18)
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. (Romans 8:14)
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2nd Corinthians 3:17)
As a child of God, how God leads you is between you and God. However, in your works, the saints should be able to attest to your fruits, and your fruits should be a witness to the world.
No One Gets Away With Anything
No one gets away with anything! We all reap what we sow at one time or another. Bad works produce bad fruit and good works produce good fruit. The God of the harvest is in charge and determines the when, where, and how of the reaping.
Christian who perform bad works, although receiving what they've sown, repentance brings in God's grace and mercy at harvest time. However, because the way of the transgressor is hard, he or she without access to repentance will receive exactly the wickedness they have sown, because they have no relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ.
Thanks be to God for His grace and mercy that endures all generations. Harvests that could have turned out extremely bad, do not turn out so bad at all, because of one's relationship with God and favor He has grants to him or her.
Do not be deceived. God is not mocked; (Galatians 6:7)
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit wii of the Spirit reap everlasting life. (Galatians 6:8)
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6:9)
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:10)
“While the earth remains,Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” (Genesis 8:22)
A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; (Ecclesiastes 3:2)
Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. (Ecclesiastes 8:11)
Evil pursues sinners, But to the righteous, good shall be repaid. (Proverbs (13:21)
But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality. (Colossians 3:25)
In The Image and Likeness of God
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26)
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:27)
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7)
Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. (Genesis 2:22)
And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” (Genesis 2:23)
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:22)
Adam's Sin
but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:17)
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. (Genesis 3:6)
Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.” (Genesis 3:12)
And the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” Genesis 3:13)
Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— (Genesis 3:22)
therefore the LORD God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. (Genesis 3:23)
So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. (Genesis 3:24)
Adam's Sin Passed Down to Us
Jesus came unto us because, Adam who was made in the image and likeness of God, did not pass this unflawed image-likeness to us, but rather, his own imperfections through disobedience.
Today, we are still like God in many respects, but as a result of inheriting the sinful nature of Adam, like Adam, we have desperate need of Christ and His transforming touch that we may perform what is that good, and perfect, and acceptable will of God,
and also be presented faultless before His presence by the blood of Jesus. This is the only way, and there is no other way for this to be accomplished.
The Work That's At Hand
Work can be productive and satisfying, however, it can also be drudgery, unending, unpleasant toil that brings neither fulfillment nor profit.
At its best, work reflects the joy God found in creating; however, at its worst, work reminds us of the burden of Adam's fall.
Many religious organizations and leaders, like the priests, rabbis, scribes, and Pharisees of biblical times, continue to place unnecessary loads of responsibilities on those whom they're deceiving, making such unprofitable works a requirement for salvation and/or to satisfy membership status.
Jesus Christ and the truth He brought relieves such who labor and are heavy laden from such unnecessary works. These are they who are righteous in their own eyes.
God is Sovereign over all He has created, and His rule-ship extends to all people, even those who do not acknowledge His power. No one except Jesus, the King of glory has the ability to stand before God.
And now that He has come and redeemed believers with His precious blood, they now have the ability also to stand before God, but only, through Jesus Christ, LORD and Savior.
The work to be save was done by Jesus Christ on the cross, but the work through salvation for the kingdom of God is to be done by each believer.
Acting In His Image and Likeness
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. (Romans 13:14)
lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
(2nd Corinthians 2:11)
For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. (Romans 8:13)
We should daily work toward during God's will by keeping ourselves in line with the word of God. There should be joy and satisfaction walking in His image and likeness because we know that's exactly what He's pleased with.
Furthermore, the rewards of obedience are far greater than anything this world can offer. There shouldn't even be a challenge as to what is the better course to take, that is, "with God" or "with the world."
His image and likeness is what we need continuously out of believers, that we may show the world our love and appreciation for Him and how proud we are to display His image and likeness.
We should make His image and likeness more popular than any hit record, or any movie, or any TV show, or any radio show, or anything made or to be made. Being like Him should be the goal of every parent and child.
But since we know that all will not believe and be converted, just let all who have believed and will believe, make it their goal to reflect His image and likeness in their lives, which will have a tremendous impact on societies throughout the world.
Some of us only need to reprioritize our moral and ethical family values menu and put it into practice for the LORD.
We can make a difference, one family and one step at a time, until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of Jesus Christ, to perfected people, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
Effectively working together as the body of Christ, with each one performing his or her share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
Such work is a good work that will pervent many from being tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the trickery of men, in cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.
Disrespect & Disregard for God's Law
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. (1st Corinthians 6:18)
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? (1st Corinthians 6:19)
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1st Corinthians 6:20)
Sin is lawlessness, that is, not the absence of the law, but active rebellion against the law.
The body is the “temple of the God,” where the “Holy Spirit” resides in the “children of God.”
We are to glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which requires us to get rid of any filthiness and uncleanness of the flesh and of the mind.
The “temple of God ” should be kept continuously clean for God to use as He wills for His glory in being a witness to the world of His presence.
Promiscuous sexual activities in homes, schools, churches, clubs, secret societies, family functions, and communities at lodge
demonstrate the stubborn disrespect and disregard for the law of God, as if what God has said concerning sexual immorality has no value at all.
The Precedence that's Been Set
This habitually sinful conduct has set precedence (a priority of importance) of unrestricted sexual activities over the obedience to the law of God, which the world promotes and aggrandize (exalts, applauds, acclaims, intensifies, and glorifies)
through the flesh, in particular, exposed sexual body parts, inappropriate dressings, flirting (dealing playfully, trifle-fully or superficially with in acts of romance and/or sexual overtures), fornication, adultery, and all other acts of fleshly passions without any respect and regard to the law of God.
The “flesh” has become their “god,” and that they do worship.
Unfortunate, promiscuous sexual activities are considered “the norm,” and as the direct result of parents shacking and having babies; and their babies having babies, as well as, celebrities and other people of influence shacking and living lives outside of the word of God, to include church people proclaiming to be Christians.
Abstinence and Virginity
“The unfortunate result” of this inappropriateness, is that abstinence (not having or practicing sexual intercourse) and virginity (absence of sexual experience, in particular, sexual intercourse) are considered “abnormal” (irregular, not usual, untypical, or not average) in the world of today.
The moral and ethical values involved in abstinence and virginity for the "temple of God" have been seared or burned out of the consciousness by the lies of Satan of those who are
habitually sinning with sex, to the point that they, do not even consider it sin; that is, if they’ve ever believed it to be sin in the beginning.
The Great Apostasy
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, (1st Timothy 4:1)
speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, (1st Timothy 4:2)
forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. (1st Timothy 4:3)
Walk According to The Spirit
When we walk according to the Spirit, we do not rely and depend on the flesh, but the Spirit of God, who is the solution to the problems of the flesh.
Our active participation and efforts of obedience to the Spirit makes us more than conquerors. Believers are sons and daughters of God because we have received the Spirit of adoption that seals our membership.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. (2nd Corinthians 10:3)
For the weapons of our warefare are not carnal but mighty in God (2nd Corinthians 10:4)
for pulling down strongholds, (2nd Corinthians 10:5)
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought
into captivity to the obedience of Christ, (2nd Corinthians 10:6)
and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (2nd Corinthians 10:7)
Do Not Be Afraid! Satan and His Demons are Already Defeated!
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath, for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. (Romans 13:19)
We are not to be ignorant of Satan's devices, which are the wiles of the devil (his subtle tricks to defeat Christians in Christian warfare). Our real battle is not with human cultists, false religions, atheists, agnostics, and pseudo-Christians, but with the demonic beings working through them, of which even the flesh and blood opponents are sometimes themselves unaware.
When we come to the understanding that many people have no idea that they're being utilized by Satan to accomplish his will, we place ourselves in positions to be more successful warriors against our real opponent (Satan and his demons). The battle approach is vital in winning the battle, and we all know "the battle is not ours, but the Lord's;" we only need to do what God commands in order to accomplish victory.
Satan is our avowed enemy. He never ceases from being hostile towards us and is constantly accusing us before God. Satan, the liar of lies, is both cunning and cruel. He attacks when least expected and desires to destroy completely those whom he attacks.
What To Do When Attacked by Satan
We are to resist him (fight not flee). The running from is to be done by him, not us; fleeing from us is his commandment from God. We need to self-discipline ourselves and think rationally and not foolishly, being alert to the spiritual pitfalls of life and taking appropriate steps to make sure that we do not stumble. As we remain faithful to God, victory will come because God is greater than our adversary the devil, whose power and usage of it is restricted according to God's will.
When attacked by Satan, as we all are, God is to be glorified through our stand and victory. After we've suffered according to the will of God, like a doctor setting a broken bone, God will mend our broken lives and make us whole (perfect us). God will make our way stable, despite the instability we feel living in a world that inflicts suffering on us (establish us). God will give us the ability to succeed in all that we do for Him (strengthen us). As a consequence of our facing the attacks of the devil, God will build in us a firm foundation that will make us steadfast and unmovable (settle us).
To God be the glory and the dominion forever and ever, because He is in control of all things, both in this world and throughout all eternity.
You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe --- and tremble! (James 2:19)
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. (John 17:15)
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. (2nd Thessalonians 3:3)
Examples of God Amazing Interventions On Behalf of His People
When the wicked curses God's people, God is bound by covenant to curse those whom have cursed His people. We just need to understand that the LORD fights for us, and we need only to stand still and see the salvation of the LORD and hold our peace. Don't worry about those people running off at the mouth, breathing out threats and being silly and mocking you. Just remember, "Vengenance" belongs to the LORD, He will repay those who come against you.
And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. (Exodus 14:13)
The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." (Exodus 14:14)
Then David said to the Philistine (Goliath), "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel , whom you have defiled. (1st Samuel 17:45)
This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. (1st Samuel 17:46)
Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD's, and He will give you into my hands." (1st Samual 17:47)
Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “Thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘Because you have prayed to Me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard.’
And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the LORD went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead. (2nd Kings 19:35)
The LORD Seeks to Show Himself Strong on Your Behalf
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” (2nd Chronicles 16:9)
We only need to rely and depend on the power of God as the Warrior and Defender of His people, who delivers His own against overwhelming odds. The LORD of hosts is the Commandering Chief of the armies of heaven and of the body of Christ, of whom we as believers (saints) are a part. The battle against those who curse us is our Commandering Chief's, not ours, whose Sovereignty is over all, even those who do not acknowledge Him as God.
The earth is the LORD's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. (Psalm 24:1)
There is no wisdom or understanding Or counsel against the LORD. (Proverbs 21:30)
What shall we say to all these things. If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
The Wicked are Already Defeated
The wicked person (fool) decides that the best thing to do in this life is to eat, drink, and be merry, with no thought given to the living God. All that matter are the things acquired in this life and enjoying them to the fullest with no thought of anyone else but self. He or she seeks to acquire such things, mostly anyway and anyhow he or she can; stepping on and over other people is just a part of the process and done without any sincere remorse at all.
There are cases when God postpones punishment, letting the guilty person live longer. Although there seems to be some glaring inequities in this present life, we know that God is working out His good purposes. Some characteristics of wicked people are as follows:
A worthless person,a wicked man, Walks with a perverse mouth; (Proverbs 6:12)
He winks with his eyes, He shuffles his feet, He points with his fingers; (Proverbs 6:13)
Perversity is in his heart, He devises evil continually, He sows discord. (Proverbs 6:14)
Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy. (Proverbs 6:15)
These six (6) things the LORD hates, Yes, seven (7) are an abomination to Him. (Proverbs 6:16)
A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, (Proverbs 6:17)
A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, (Proverbs 6:18)
A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among his brethren. (Proverbs 6:19)
Don't Worry--- Just Pray
Do not worry, because Jesus commanded us not to worry. Our heavenly Father knows what we have need of and who's bothering us. We are to pray unto Him and let our requests be known unto Him, not because He doesn't already know, but because it's about our intimate relationships with Him and the joy of those relationships in the love exchange process.
The poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. (Psalm 34:6)
The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. (Psalm 34:7)
Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. (Psalm 34:9)
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17)
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19)
Though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished; But the posterity of the righteous will be delivered. (Proverbs 11:21)
Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; Though they join forces, none will go unpunished. (Proverbs 16:5)
He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, Both of them alike are an abomination. (Proverbs 17:15)
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath, for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. (Romans 13:19
