No Unified Belief System
New Age Spirituality has no unified belief system; it consists of many practices and philosophies. There is a pantheistic idea (the view that everything is of an all-encompassing immanent abstract God; or that the universe, or nature, and God are equivalent) idea of God, which can be understood in many ways; including through the form of a Goddess or through forms of polytheism (the belief in or worship of multiple deities, such as gods and goddesses).
New Age Spirituality's practices and philosophies and its no unified belief system is called Theism (the belief that God is All, and All is God). There is no Godhead (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit); everything created is equal to the Creator; therefore, there are many ways, not just One, to God.
Polytheism, Atheism and Monotheism
Polytheism (the belief in or worship of multiple deities, such as gods and goddesses) is a type of theism (the belief in a God and/or gods), as opposed to a type of atheism (the disbelief in a God and/or gods), but contrasts with monotheism (the belief in a singular God), which is the dominant belief in the world today.
Electic Spirituality
Electic spirituality is the belief and practice that every person should follow their own individual path to spirituality, not dogma. Different religions and philosophies from around the world offer different practices that can be adopted in one's pursuit of his or her path to spirituality.
Afterlife or The Life After Death
The afterlife ( life after death and hereafter) is the proposed continued existence of the soul, spirit, or mind of a being after physical death in a spiritual or immaterial realm (heaven or hell) determined by one's actions prior to his or her physical death.
Reincarnation (to be made flesh again) is a doctrine of metaphysical belief that some essential part of a living being (soul or spirit; the higher or true self; divine spark or I) survives death to be reborn in a new body.
According to the doctrine of reincarnation, a new personality is developed during each life in the physical world, but some part of self (soul) remains constant throughout the successive lives.
The concept of reincarnation (along with karma, samsara, and moksha)was first developed in India by non-Aryan people outside of the caste system whose spiritual ideas greatly influenced later Indian religious thought. Buddhism and Jainism are continuations of this tradition, and the early Upanishadic movement was influenced by it.
The following religions believe and teach the doctrine of reincarnation: Buddhism, Jainism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Taoism, Gnosticism, Islamic sufi groups, Native American Indians, Scientology, Anthroposophy, Theosophical Society, Eckankar, roots Transcendentalism, Mesmerism,
Swedenborgianism and several Christian organizations (Christian Community, Liberal Catholic Church, Unity Church, Christian Spiritualist Movement, Rosicrucian Fellowship, and Lectorium Rosicrucianum).
The Medieval heretical sect known variously as the Cathars or Albigensians who flourished in the Languedoc believed in Reincarnation, seeing each soul as a fallen angel born again and again into the world of Matter created by Lucibel (Lucifer). Only through a Gnostic 'Rebirth' in the Holy Spirit through Christ could the soul escape this process of successive existences and return to God.
While mainstream Christianty rejects the doctrine of reincarnation, New Age Christians contend that reincarnation was taught by the early Christian church, but due to bias and mistranslations, these teachings were lost or obscured.
Other Teachings and Practices of New Agers
Other than teaching that "God is not a Person," but rather "a force," and since we all are God, and there is no death, other teachings include: holistic medicine, astrology and other variations of magi (magics or sorcery), UFOs and extraterrestrials, worship of self, and yogi and meditation.
These new age teachings and practices are moving into our communities and churches at a pace more rapidly than one might believe, which clearly explains why things are going on and being accepted in many traditional Christian churches like never before, and which shouldn't be accepted.
For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, (Titus 1:10
whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. (Titus 1:11)
One of them, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” (Titus 1:12)
Cretans, spoken of here, were the inhabitants of Crete (one of the 13 peripheries of Greece; an island in the Mediterranean Sea).
Apostates Prediction Come to Pass
These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. (Jude 1:16)
But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: (Jude 1:17)
Maintaining Our Lives With God
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, (Jude 1:20)
keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (Jude 1:21)
And on some have compassion, making a distinction; (Jude 1:22)
but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. (Jude 1:23)
Glory Always to God
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, (Jude 1:24)
To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. (Jude 1:25)

Substitution of Spirituality for Biblical Christianity
Oprah Winfrey's New Age philosophies and influences has made her a high priestess and icon of occult brainwashing methodology through her television audience that exceeds 10 million and her magazine readership of approximately 3 million.
Ophra's message to the world is a religion of positive thinking that is to be accomplished through one's own works, without the help of God.
Ophra was rasied up in a Baptist church, and as an adolescent, she was sexually abused by male relatives, became sexually promiscuous, and gave birth to a baby boy, who later died. God, no doubt, kept watch over her as she continued to live and make progress.
Ophra has now exchanged the gospel of Jesus Christ for the lie (New Age Movement), which permotes fulfillment and success as the goods of a satisfing life (materialism).
As a high profiled prophetess of the New Age Movement, she preaches liberation through self, forgiveness without atonement, and no need for the work of Christ on the Cross for sin, because the confession of one's inadequateness is sufficient for whatever wrongdoings recognized.
Ophra's non-judgmental and empathetic approach conflicts with the ethical and moral standards of the Bible. Her approach is inviting and intrigging to the general public because there are lesser moral obligations and rules to comply with; exactly what the flesh desires to hear.
Ophra's secularized spirituality provides advice on romance, dating, marriage, and parenting through contemporary psychology methology (a form of secular humanism based on the rejection of God and the worship of self).
The core values of Ophra's message is the same as many other occult organizations' values as seen or demonstrated in her own life-style, publicly acknowledging that she live in or shack-up with her long-time boyfriend Stedman Graham. Yet, with her mediums and other supporters, she's preaching the message for societal living.

Common Beliefs of New Agers
1. A central spirit, known as the "Source" or the "God of the Force,"
2. The god within (the divinity of man),
3. The law of rebirth (reincarnation)
4. Jesus and Christ consciousness are "two seperate entities;"
5. Christ is an office rather than a man;
6. Evolution,
7. The perfectibility of man,
8. Salvation is by works rather than by atonement and grace;
9. The interconnectedness of all things(All is One and God is All)
10. There is no sin (an archaic or mischievious belief). Man simply does "horrible acts."
Seven Major Teaching of New Agers
1. Jesus was not and is not the only Christ, nor is he God.
2. "God" is impersonal, cosmic, a God of energy forces.
3. Man is himself God, for he consists of and is the creator of "the forces." Man already exercises the powers inherent in his divinity and needs only to awaken to this fact.
4. Man should seek and accept spiritual instruction and direction directly from the spirit world.
5. All religions and religious teachings lead to the same goal. All are equally of merit.
6. The "ancient wisdom" of Babylon, Egypt and Greece - not the Bible - is the basis of all truth.
7. Sin and evil do not exist. Peace and love are the ultimate realities.
Not the God nor Jesus of the Bible
Do not be deceived! New Agers do not mean God or Jesus Christ of the Bible.
Most New Age teachers hold that Mother Earth, the sun, the moon, and the stars, indeed all of Nature can be worshipped as God.
The New Ager understands Christ as a reincarnated avatar, Messiah, or messenger sent from the 'hierarchy' to give the living on earth spiritually advanced revelation.
The New Age accepts that Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius, Jesus, and many others were 'Christ'.
All things, including man, constitute, the ONE - called Universal Mind, The Source, Universal Self, Cosmic Consciousness, Universal Presence, or The Force" - your Inner Voice, Higher Self, or Intuition. "
God is an impersonal energy; force, immanent in all things (including man). God can be referred to either as she or he, mother or father, god or goddess.
The New Age Movement Foundation
The foundation of the New Agers is found primarily in the writings of various authors going back to the early 1800s: Helen Petrovan Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, Nicholas Roerich, H.G. Wells, Marily Fergeson and Robert Mueller.
The New Age Movement covert goal is to abolish all systems based on the Bible.

New Thought and New Age both believe in a direct relationship with the Ultimate, however conceived.
Neither movement favors hierarchical organizations, and both groups treat women and men as partners, with many women in leadership roles.
Many people in both groups believe in reincarnation, because they feel that we can't learn all we need to learn in one lifetime.

New Age Spirituality is characterized by an individual approach to spirituality, while rejecting religious doctrine and dogma, including, but not limited to Christianity. New Age practices and philosophies sometimes draw inspiration from major world religions: Buddism, Chinese folk religion, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, and Sufism; with particularly strong influences from East Asain religions, Gnosticism, Neopaganism, New Thought, Spiritualism, Universalism, and western esotericism.
"A person seeking inner development must first of all make the attempt to give up certain formerly held inclinations. Then, new inclinations must be acquired by constantly holding the thought of such inclinations, virtues or characteristics in one's mind. They must be so incorporated into one's being that a person becomes enabled to alter his soul by his own will-power. This must be tried as objectively as a chemical might be tested in an experiment. A person who has never endeavored to change his soul, who has never made the initial decision to develop the qualities of endurance, steadfastness and calm logical thinking, or a person who has such decisions but has given up because he did not succeed in a week, a month, a year or a decade, will never conclude anything inwardly about these truths." (Rudolf Steiner, "On the Inner Life")
One of its main goals is to bring to the forefront a one-world leader who is called "The Christ" or "Maitreya." Nevertheless, it is estimated that there are millions of worldwide followers of various New Age practices and/or holders of one or more of the major beliefs of the New Age.
There are a diversity of organizations operating in economic, political, and religious spheres of influence in the New Age Movement whose goal and purpose is to prepare the world to enter the coming "Age Of Aquarius." Some are as follows, but in no way is the following listing all inclusive:
Amnesty International, Zero Population Growth, California New Age Caucus, New World Alliance, World Goodwill, The Church Universal and Triumphant, The Theosophical Society, the Forum, Planetary Initiative for the World We Choose, the Club of Rome, Church Universal & Triumphant, Christian Science, and Unity School of Christianity.
