PROCLAIMING JESUS CHRIST

THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF THE FATHER GOD ALMIGHTY

          THE ONLY ~WAY!

THE ONLY ~TRUTH!

THE ONLY ~LIFE!

Jesus said to him (Thomas), "I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)

Present Yourselves Approved to God

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2nd Timothy 2:15)

Let all things be done decently and in order. (1st Corinthians 14:40)

Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. (Psalm 119:104)

Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom.  And in all your getting, get understanding. (Proverbs 4:7)

All things should be done decently and in order; and the first (1st) order of being about our Father's business is understanding the Godhead (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit).

Without knowledge and understanding of God's divine and eternal nature, one cannot rightly dividing the word of truth.

An understanding of God's nature is vitally important to God concerning those claiming to be His messengers.

No one can one be approved to God for teaching and/or preaching His word if he or she doesn't understand His divine and eternal nature.

Jesus' Sheep Know Him

I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.  (John 10:14)

As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. (John 10:15)

And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. (John 10:16)

“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. (John 10:17)

No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” (John 10:18)

Teaching and Preaching the Gospel

Jesus' sheep, in particular, those whom He has called and appointed to teach and preach His gospel, know Him and understand His divine nature.

Misunderstandings of God's divine and eternal nature corrupts the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Those who do not have an understanding of God's divine and eternal nature distort or pervert the truth because they do not know Him and is neither known of Him.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (Matthew 28:18)

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Matthew 28:19)

teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen (Matthew 28:20)

[The Untamable Tongue ] My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. (James 3:1)

The Father and The Son

I (Jesus) am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me.” (John 8:18)

Then they said to Him, “Where is Your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.” (John 8:19)

These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come. (John 8:20)

My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. (John 10:29)

You have heard Me (Jesus) say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. (John 14:28)

O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. (John 17:25)

The Three (3) Bearing Witness

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. (1st John 5:7)

And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. (1st John 5:8)

Certain Christian doctrines constitute a recognized and realized core of fundamental doctrine of the Christian faith that uniquely distinguish the Christian faith from non-Christian faiths.

These essential core doctrines include (1) the Trinity, (2) the deity of Christ, (3) the bodily resurrection of Christ, (4) the atoning work of Christ on the cross, and (5) salvation by grace through faith alone.

These five (5) doctrines so comprise the essence of the Christian faith that to remove any one (1) of them is to make the belief system non-Christian.

Essential core doctrines should not be confused with peripheral or non-essential issues, about which Christian may legitimately disagree.

Such peripheral doctrines include such issues as (1) the timing of the tribulation, (2) the method of baptism, (3) the structure of church government, and (4) all other legitimately disagreements.

For example, one can be wrong about the identity of the "spirits in prison" reflected in 1st Peter 3:19, or about the "timing of the rapture" as reflected in 1st Thessalonians 4:16-17 and still go to heaven.  However, one cannot deny salvation by grace through faith alone or the deity of Christ and be saved.

All Genuine Christian denominations agree on essential core doctrines, although relatively minor disagreements exist with peripheral or non-essential issues.

However, such legitimate disagreements cannot validly be utilized by critics to argue that there is no objectively recognized core of fundamental doctrine which constitutes the Christian faith.

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

Therefore God has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, (Philippians 2:9)

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, (Philippians 2:10)

and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:11)

The Necessity of Spiritual Understanding

For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” (1st Corinthians 1:19)

[Preeminence of Christ ] For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; (Colossians 1:9)

that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; (Colossians 1:10)

Disqualified Teachers

For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, (Titus 1:10)

whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. (Titus 1:11)

One of them, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.”  (Titus 1:12)

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith.  Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?unless indeed you are disqualified. (2nd Corinthians 13:5)

But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified. (2nd Corinthians 13:6)
