False Prophets/Teachers

Get out of what you're in! Your soul depends on it!
  • Beware of False Prophets/Teachers

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are raveous wolves. (Matthew 7:15)

You will know them by their fruits.  Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? (Matthew 7:16)

Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. (Matthew 7:17)

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. (Matthew 7:18)

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (Matthew 7:19)

Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (Matthew 7:20)

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. (Ephesians 5:6)

Therefore do not be partakers with them. (ephesians 5:7)

Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words. (Colossians 1:4)

For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ. (Colossians 1:5)

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, (Colossians 1:6)

rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. (Colossians 1:7)

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. (Colossians 1:8)

For in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily; (Colossians 1:9)

and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principility and power. (Colossians 1:10)

Let no one deceive you by any means, for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and teh man of sin is revealed, the son of perdiction, (2nd Thessalonians 2:3)

who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (2nd Thessalonians 2:4)

If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to doctrine which accords with godliness, (1st Timothy 6:3)

he is proud, knowing nothing, but obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, (1st Timothy 6:4)

useless wranglings of men with corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.  From such withdraw yourself. (1st Timothy 6:5)

For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcison, (Titus 1:10)

whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. (Titus 1:11)

They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, dishonest, and disqualified for every good work.  (Titus 1:16)

Any doctrine other than the doctrine of Christ is false doctrine or doctrine of demons inspired by Satan through deceiving spirits.

These false prophets and organizations they've created and promoted, and which are pepetually promoted by their successors, never cease their deceptive practices for the ruin of as many of God's creation as possible.  Those whom they cannot devour, they just keep pestering and trying to arouse doubt about the doctrine of Christ.

The beast and the false prophet of Revelation are first cast into the lake of fire and brimstone; then the devil who deceived them is cast in, where they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Afterwhich, Death and Hades are cast into the lake of fire, followed by all unbeliever (those who outrightly rejected the doctrine of Jesus Christ and those pretenders/hypocrites), where they will be tormented day and night forever and ever, just as the beast and false prophet are;  I tell you the truth and not a lie; for this is the word of God.

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his soul? (Mark 8:36)

Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:37)

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels. (Mark 8:38)

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)

Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' (Matthew 7:22)

And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' (Matthew 7:23)

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and "Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity." (2nd Timothy 2:19)

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. (Psalms 66:18)

Sin and the Temple of God

Sin is lawlessness, that is, not the absence of the law, but active rebellion against the law.

The body is the “temple of the God,” where the “Holy Spirit” resides in the “children of God.”

We are to glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which requires us to get rid of any filthiness and uncleanness of the flesh and of the mind.

The “temple of God ” should be kept continuously clean for God to use as He wills for His glory in being witnesses to the world of His continued presence.

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (1st Corinthians 6:18)

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (1st Corinthians 6:19)

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (1st Corinthians 6:20)
