    Do Not be Deceived

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, (1st Timothy 4:1)

Beloved, do not be believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1st John 4:1)

By this you know the Spirit of God; Every spirit that confesses that Jesus has come in the flesh is of God, (1st John 4:2)

and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus has come in the flesh is not of God.  And this is the spirit of the Anitchrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. (1st John 4:3)

Religious and/or Christians cults share in one (1) or more of the following erronous beliefs and practices:

    (1) Jesus is not the Son of God

    (2) Jesus did not come in the flesh

    (3) Jesus did not die on the cross

    (4) Jesus was just another prophet

    (5) Jesus is not God, but a god

    (6) Jesus' blood is not sufficient for all sins

    (7) Jesus was married and had children

    (8) Salvation is not by faith alone, but by works

    (9) Belivers do not die and go to heaven

    (10) Unbelievers do not die and go to hell

    (11) Hell is not real, but a figurative expression

    (12) Heaven is not real, but a figurative expression

    (13) Unsaved persons at death just cease to exist and are not exposed to any suffering (annihilation)

    (14) The Holy Spirit is not God, but God's active force

    (15) The Holy Spirit is not Holy Spirit but holy spirit

    (16) God is not three (3) Persons of one substance, power, and eternity (Holy Trinity)

    (17) There is a general salvation for all of mankind that prevents any from being lost; however, there is a personal salvation as well for greater rewards

    (18) One is saved by his or her on beliefs, meaning Jesus is not the only way, but rather, one way among many ways

    (19) Jesus Christ is not the only Mediator between God and man

    (20) The Holy Bible has been distorted and is not to be believed as the inspired word of God

    (21) Protestants have a trunicated knowledge of Scripture and are incapable of adequate and proper interpetation

    (22) There is no such thing as a resurrection

    (23) Man himself is God, and/or can become God

    (24) Jesus has already returned and is here now

    (25) Jesus was resurrected spiritually, but not physically

    (26) A variety of other things

    Understand This

The above mentioned erroneous beliefs and practices are a listing of many primary ones utilized by religious and/or Christian cults for establishing, promoting, and maintaining their deceptive beliefs and practices, whose end is death and destruction.

All Scrpiture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, (2nd Timothy 3:16)

that the man of God may be complete, throughly equipped for every good work. (2nd Timothy 3:17)

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He as loved us, (Ephesians 2:4)

even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), (Ephesians 2:5)

and raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, (Ephesians 2:6)

that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:7)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, (Ephesians 2:8)

not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:9)

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)

    Special Notice !!!

Realize and understand that no one is saved by his or her personal good works, as to what one might believe them to be, but rather, salvation is the direct result of the work of Christ Jesus on Calvary's Cross, God's gift to humanity.  Therefore, we can conclude that no one is saved by good works, but rather, for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Only in Christ Jesus are believers able to manifest the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control) that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God; without Jesus we can do nothing worthy and acceptable unto God.

But we are all like an unclean thing, And all of our righteousness are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6)

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived.  Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, (1st Corinthians 6:9)

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1st Corinthians 6:10)

And such were some of you.  But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. (1st Corinthians 6:11)

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful.  All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. (1st Corinthians 6:12)

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplication, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, (1st Timothy 2:1)

for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quite and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence. (1st Timothy 2:2)

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, (1st Timothy 2:3)

who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1st Timothy 2:4)

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, (1st Timothy 2:5)

who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, (1st Timothy 2:6)

for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle --- I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying --- a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. (1st Timothy 2:7)

Sin and the Temple of God

Sin is lawlessness, that is, not the absence of the law, but active rebellion against the law.

The body is the “temple of the God,” where the “Holy Spirit” resides in the “children of God.”

We are to glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which requires us to get rid of any filthiness and uncleanness of the flesh and of the mind.

The “temple of God ” should be kept continuously clean for God to use as He wills for His glory in being witnesses to the world of His continued presence.

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (1st Corinthians 6:18)

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (1st Corinthians 6:19)

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (1st Corinthians 6:20)
